Being late that is. Familial habit, I suppose. Nevertheless, I am glad you made it. Really glad. If for some reason you didn’t get an invitation, it has something to do with the company in India that I hired to manage the reunion this year.

What is Happening with the Theme? Route 66? Las Vegas?

Some have asked, “What’s up with the Las Vegas look?” Well, when I think of the annual Floyd Reunion, I think of a time-honored tradition where the family loads up in the car on a Summer Saturday morning and makes a road trip, albeit short, to the Cumberland County Park.

We obviously move the locations from time to time, but we still load up in the car and travel to see one another. As I looked to translate that into the web, I thought of the web as Route 66–a medium to connect us, so that’s the background…
